Mathura Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Morning (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Begin your day by visiting the Shri Radha Rani Temple, the most famous temple in Barsana. Located on Bhanugarh Hill, it is dedicated to Radha Rani and offers a panoramic view of the village. The temple is also known as the Shri Ladli Lal Temple.

Afternoon (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM): After visiting the main temple, you can explore other significant sites in Barsana.

Maan Mandir: This temple is on Maan Garh hill and is believed to be where Radha Rani would go when she was upset with Lord Krishna.

Prem Sarovar: A sacred pond believed to be the spot where Radha and Krishna first met.

Rangeeli Mahal & Kirti Mandir: The Rangeeli Mahal is a stunning place of worship and the Kirti Mandir is dedicated to Radha's mother, Kirti Maiya.

Late Afternoon (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Travel to Nandgaon, which is about 7 kilometers from Barsana. Here, you can visit Nand Baba Mahal, the ancestral home of Lord Krishna's foster father, Nanda Maharaj.

Evening (5:00 PM onwards): Return to Barsana or head to a nearby town like Mathura or Vrindavan for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2
Morning (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM): After breakfast, proceed to Govardhan Hill. This is a significant pilgrimage site where Lord Krishna is believed to have lifted the mountain on his little finger. You can do the Govardhan Parikrama (circumambulation), which can take a few hours, or visit key spots like:

Radha Kund and Shyam Kund: Twin sacred ponds associated with Radha and Krishna.

Kusum Sarovar: A serene lake surrounded by beautiful chattri (cenotaphs).

Afternoon (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM): You can have lunch at a local restaurant in Govardhan or on the way back.

Late Afternoon (3:00 PM onwards): After a fulfilling day, you can begin your journey back to your origin, or if you have time, you can visit a few more temples in Vrindavan or Mathura before leaving.
